  1. New Bike

I do. They don’t sit that high for me because of my height. I’m thinking about going to 14” bars in the future. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. New Bike

So I’ve been wanting a bike for the past 3-4 years. I I I finally took my MSF course at the local Harley dealership last week. I wasn’t planning on getting one but you know how that goes. Picked up a 2009 Harley Street Bob. I’ve always liked these bikes and found a great deal on it. After I got it home I took off the sissy bar and rolled the bars forward a bit. It looks a lot better and my arms aren’t so bent. Then today I put on a Harley Daymaker knockoff from Amazon. Looks a lot brighter than the factory light. I’m still learning and practicing so I haven’t taken it far from the house. But I’m really enjoying it and looking forward to some longer rides. I’m taking it to the shop for some new tires, rear brakes and a fork oil change in a couple weeks and then I’ll feel a little more comfortable taking it farther out. Finally got the stereo in. Head unit and some JVC components. Sounds so much better. But it’ll be even better once I get an amp and a small sub in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thank you! I was surprised it cleaned up as good as it did. I’ve been really happy with it so far. It does everything I need and even has a towing capacity of around 5000lbs. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hey everyone, it's been a while. I didn't feel that this fits a long-term build thread necessarily, but I wanted to document my progress. I got this truck in March from a family member and while its not really being restored, I am refreshing it to become a more comfortable driver/run-around truck. I wasn't planning on doing a thread so I didn't take many pictures to this point. If some pictures don't make sense, that's why. Some details about the truck: 2003 Nissan Frontier Desert Runner 2WD 3.3 V6 / Auto 172k miles The truck was used to run to the dump and occasionally tow a boat. It had been sitting under a tree for some time. I was told it had an oil leak and needed some belts replaced. Some pictures of when I brought it home So it was pretty dirty. Since I do a little detailing on the side, the first thing I did was pull the seats and do a good deep cleaning. I used a steamer, Chemical Guys Fabric Clean, Meguiar's APC and Aerospace 303. Here are the results: The tailgate handle was broken so an Amazon replacement went on I also used the chance to remove some old stickers and decals Right around this time, the alternator belt shredded on me. I figured it was time to start addressing some mechanical issues. A buddy helped me install new valve cover gaskets, which were the cause of the oil leak and smoking. Then I cleaned up the engine bay a little bit. As I was trying to figure out what needed to be done next, I had been worried about the timing belt, which is recommended to be replaced every 100k miles. I spoke to the previous owner who told me the timing belt had never been replaced! Since I was living on borrowed time with this motor, the truck went to the shop and got a new timing belt, water pump, the two remaining accessory belts, and two pullies. Then to update the front end a bit I added some Amazon headlights and painted the grill bar This is how the truck sits today. I have a new high-pressure AC hose waiting to go on which was leaking. Hopefully, that will fix my AC leak. I also have ordered some audio upgrades which should be arriving today. Also, I plan on doing some paint correction on the truck soon. I plan on keeping this updated throughout the process.
