You're pretty close on that John. I think just going tubular K shaves 60-80 lbs off the nose. If you keep an iron block and go tube K, it would be the equiv of iron vs. aluminum block weight diff. I'd run the tube K just for ease of maintenance around the lower side of the engine...

I'm FAT! :crying: Finally stopped by the Murfreesboro co-op. My last WRX came in at 3080 on this scale; about 1/4 tank of gas on both vehicles at the time of weighing. Full tank would probably put it around the curb weight I've seen online (3390).

That's actually not too bad. :no:

Most of the V8 cars are right around 4,000lbs with driver.

My junk was 4040lbs wit me and 3/4 tank of gas.

With ProCharger and some other junk I added,  I'll bet you it's 100lbs more now.

So I'll be closer to 4200lbs with driver at 760rwhp.

I wanna see the Yote Coupe hit the track.  With as light as it is and how much power its putting down, that thing should RIP!

Yeah Im sure the Shelby is pretty fat, right around yours JohnC MAYBE a tad slimmer.
