My God, you're old! Enjoy your retirement!

That ain't too far away.  Time served plus sick time = 30 and I'm out the door.  I have nearly 23 years and over 2 years of sick time right now.  I'm hoping for an early buyout and then I'll go work for a consultant for ten years while getting a retirement check.

I've not taken a vacation and only one sick day since hired at the state.

I maxed out my comp in under 4 years.

My annual is also maxed and rolling over in to sick.

I worked all 4 of the past holidays (12 hour shift), so that's 48 hours of comp paid in cash. :pleased:

Add that I worked 72 hours OT in a 14 day pay cycle and you can see how the check was good. :D

I only take 1 or 2 Sundays off every 28 day pay cycle and that's minimum 12 hrs a day.
