Stock 2020 GT500 Dyno

I think it'll be easy to mod the GT500 in to the 9's.

And I love how it sounded on the dyno when it shifted.

Sounds quick and has a pop like the supercars.

I watched part of that guy's video when he picked it up.  That dealership knows how to deliver a car.  I'll watch the dyno run later.

How old is that "kid" in the video?  Does he buy cars with Youtube money?  :)

Whatever he is doing, it's paying off because at no point in my life have I ever been lucky enough to get a top tier performance car like that and drive it home.

Plus, to get one that early, he probably paid $20-$30k dealer markup over MSRP. :eeek:

Is he related to you?  I remember when you were 19, you looked like you were 13.  ;)

I believe you can configure a new GT500 to just under $110k

They start at $72,900 https://www.ford.com/cars/mustang/models/shelby-gt500/

Paint color option up to about $500

Painted black roof $700

But painted on stripe option is $10k

Carbon fiber track pack $19,500

Tech package $3k

Etc....

While I did purchase a GT350R, I would never pull the trigger on the carbon fiber package on the GT500.  It’d never see enough track time to justify the added cost.

I just can't believe how much they want for painted on stripes. :eeek:

I'm positive it wouldn't be that much for a local paint shop to do that.

Dodge wants $495 for red painted brake calipers and $425 for hood pins.  Their stripe packages cost $495 each.  Some of the options are stupid for the money.

This GT500 is pretty awesome, but it ain't worth that kind of money.  $60k is idiotic for a Hellcat.  Don't get me started on the Redeye at $73k.  I wasn't about to spend over $40k for a car.

Well, the tape stripes are affordable.

But painted stripes are retarded expensive.

ZL1 and Hellcat are expensive, but you get a car with big HP, fast, reliable and with a warranty -- new! :yum:

After building up a couple cars and always having issues to resolve, I really wish i could afford the fast cars with a warranty.
