Either the E85 has had time to wash the oil out of the cylinders or maybe because it was warmer today, but the trans wasn't doing that weird 1st to 2nd shift.

I just see tip in knock. Like when you hit the gas it'll get knock.

But when I'm in the throttle for a little bit I don't think I seen anymore knock.

I don't smell oil in the exhaust anymore either. :w00t:

Yep, I did my normal drive home and the oil smell and smoke that usually is present isn't there anymore.

I don't seem to be getting anymore knock except tip-in right when I hit it.

I might be crazy, but the car feels stronger and smoother as well.

I really feel it would do an 11.5 or better now if it will hook up.... :3gears:

Your cylinder airmass went from a .96 to a 1.08, I’d like to think it picked up more than two tenths. Probably will be Thursday before I can look at your logs.

All the wonky trans **** went away....

Bish is feeling stronger than ever.

Don't know how airmass equates to power, but moAr = better and better it is! :hyper:

Need to put 93 back in it and get your regular timing table squared away. Flex fuel timing just adds off of it, if it’s not right neither will your flex fuel.

OK.... will run out this tank of E85 and go from there....

Volumetric efficiency is greatest at (or near) peak torque.  At high RPM there is less time to for air to fill the cylinder.

I seen 1.22 and 1.14 peak on cylinder airmass in my new logs below...... That wasn't at peak rpm's either....

So how is it my cylinder airmass is higher at a lower rpm than peak?

Think about it, peak airmass will always be the greatest at the point where the engine is at its peak efficiency.

16% E....

How do the pump gas 93 logs look so far?

The latest windows update took out my tablet I use. Two days of “tech” support and I got it going again, a new tune will be posted shortly.

I'll load this tune today and get you a log.

How did the logs look post rocker bolt seal up to this point?

Less knock, better?

I'm not seeing any noticeable oil consumption. :w00t:

No knock retard except very slight tip in. Everything looks pretty good. Get the short term fuel trims back in line, reenable closed loop and put a fork in it. Timing looks good but I would want to read the plugs, I prefer not to rely on the knock sensors entirely.

See, that's why I tell people not to take their hot rods to jack leg mechanics that don't know how to seal an engine up right!
