Your values aren't right for either of them and you have to pick the parameter "total knock retard". Hopefully I'll be able to go the the hill tonight and show you. Bring the DVD's if you're finished with them please.

If you need them, I'll bring them.

But I haven't been able to watch all of it yet nor burn a copy.

OK, I fixed it. I put the parameter "total knock retard".

Anything else?

That should be it. Just make sure you have total knock retard in your channels or else you will get nothing in the graph.

This car runs too hot. It hit 221F on the idiot gauge before the low speed fan kicked on.

How much cooler of a t-stat can I use without causing emissions equipment problems?

Of course I'd program the fans to come on at the right temp for a cooler t-stat.

Newer LS cars run really hot for fuel efficiency.  I'm running a 160 thermostat now, but the PCM doesn't have the ability to run the fans that low.  Mine actually runs about 180-190.

In reality, with the plastic intake, running hot does nor affect the power.  But you need to be pulling in cool air.

Interesting. Guess I won't fool with it then.

The custom operating systems in hp can turn them on at 160 I believe.

Post your current tune please. Also are you going to the hill Tuesday?

Not sure yet if I can make it to the Hill.

Hang on, let me grab the laptop and upload that tune.

I'm trying to download the current tune from the car because evidently we did not save the changes you made at the hill to the tune file. Problem is, it only highlight download tune to car, but not the upload tune to PC in the editor.

Are we screwed?

Last saved file I have is from 5-11-17. We were at the hill on the 16th.

Here goes the latest tune file I have:

Camaro SS Tune.hpt

Close the file. Then you should be able to read the current tune. It will ask you to save your changes before you close the program though. So any changes I made should be there.
