Originally the design never used "latches" the tailgate had ears on either side and the bed had catch tabs with chains that had J style hooks on them

haha isnt that the truth....I am pretty eager to get  her back so i can start on body work...Satin black should make her real mean looking

 

Then again, next year when i get my bonus i might have to talk to Joey about doing something big for the 67. T5 swap or maybe even a diff engine over the 302

yeah,

Have ordered several parts now..

Couple u joints and holder for the steering and rear sump oil pan....And maybe some headers :)

Will have to wait for them and then drop them off next week hopefulyl

nothing major and i forgot to snap a pic but i scuffed up the firewall and hit it with some semigloss rustoleum. Much better and since the engine was out it was the perfect time to do so
