The OBD2 connection under the dash is probably spazzing out the PCM because a pin is pushed in from the looks of it.

I don't see how it's possible for those pins to cause a U code (unless they're shorted together). But, they need fixing anyway...

And since the O2s don't work and you've got a Trans communications fault..see if your exhaust swap guy knocked a connector loose....

See this thread:

Long story short.

Had to reinstall cats for miss and re-enable post cat O2 sensors.

Drove forever.

Got all the sensors ready, but O2 readiness didn't happen in time to pass emiss, so I failed and my tags expired. Also, the guy acted like it wouldn't connect right. Took one OBD2 test cable off and put another on.

After it failed emiss, I tried to run the car a couple times, shutting it down, opening the door to make sure all electrical was off which I think caused the stabilink to reset. This is a weird way GM has it setup.

Tapped the OBD2 connection with my hand because at the time I didn't know what caused stabiltrak to flash, and it acted like it had a bad connection. Car went crazy, ran so rough it shook, all lights lit in the dash like when you Key On Engine Off. Right after that, it threw 3 codes. TCM link failure, CAN bus failure, etc.

Took pics of OBD2 female (car) end and it looked jacked up like a pin is pushed in.

So I'm going to try to repair the OBD2 connector and see if that caused the CEL and link/bus failures while it was hooked up to my HP Tuners.

So yesterday my family was at the burial for my wife's great uncle.  He was a WWII Navy veteran.  So, at the Chattanooga National Cemetery in the permanent pavilion for "graveside" ceremonies, the Sailors were folding the flag as everyone watched respectfully silent...even my kids were quiet.  Then I looked over and saw my wife and niece fighting back laughter.  :???:   After the ceremony I asked what the deal was....she said she'd heard water running, looked around, and found that our 4 year old had rounded the corner and was taking a leak on the backside of the pavilion.

the center belt in my Lincoln actually locked up while the seat was folded down. I had to end up cutting it.
