What are some good tires? Some that work good in wet and dry conditions.

Best wet weather tire brand I ever had were Goodyear. Darn near any tire they make seems to do well in rain.

Best wearing tire brand I ever had was Michelin.

I swear. a Michelin tire will last so long it'll dry rot and crack from old age before they're worn out.

I've got Continental DWS06's on the GT and they are really good all around.  I ran some Hankooks on the ST and I liked them as well.  For a more performance rated tire I like my BFG Sport Comp 2's but they get a little hard in the cold.

If you need a place to hide it for a couple days to truely surprise her, I got an empty spot in the garage.  Move a bunch of boxes, some small furniture and haul a literal ton of garbage to the dump (it's been hectic lol) and it'll keep my 66's spot warm for a couple days lol

Brodie were you up around Bell and Blue Hole in the 65 a few weeks ago?

I was not.  Transmission is out of the fastback while a new clutch goes in.  Hasn’t seen the road in a couple of months.

Whatcha got planned for it? :hyper:

At first, just fix a couple minor things so she can cruise it around. Alt seems bad, has a draw on the battery. Going to do a 3G alternator conversion and be done with it. This car is a California car so it's got a smog pump and smog ports on the head. Going to remove that stuff and plug the holes. Fix a small exhaust leak that sounds like its' either one of those port, or the manifold gasket. Then go thru the brakes, make sure they are all 100% (as 100% as drums can get) and probably some new tires. These tires still look "new" but the receipt says 2001. That stuff should keep her happy for a while until i'm ready to tear into it. Then..... Who knows.

Got the Continental's on. Already noticed it rides quieter than the P Zero’s.

We’ll see if they’re any better in the cold today.

Excuse the dirty ride; 20F is too cold for washing the car.
