45 psi under what conditions?  I thought you said 20 earlier?

That's when the compressor kicked on

My low side is saying around 45 psi with a crappy ac pro gauge.

45-55 low side pressure is with the compressor running. If it's dropping down to 20 when it kicks on, you most likely need some freon. Add some with a dye and find the leak and fix it. It's a gm, check the Schrader valves.

Really, 90% of the time you'll be best served by holding the low side pipe just before it enters the cabin. Add freon and it will get cold. Once you feel it "flash" or surge really really cold, then you're done.

Rambo died last month.  RIP. :usa:

ROSS, WILBURN K.

Citation

For conspicuous gallantry and intrepidity at risk of life above and beyond the call of duty near St. Jacques, France. At 11:30 a.m. on 30 October 1944, after his company had lost 55 out of 88 men in an attack on an entrenched. full-strength German company of elite mountain troops, Pvt. Ross placed his light machinegun 10 yards in advance of the foremost supporting riflemen in order to absorb the initial impact of an enemy counterattack. With machinegun and small-arms fire striking the earth near him, he fired with deadly effect on the assaulting force and repelled it. Despite the hail of automatic fire and the explosion of rifle grenades within a stone's throw of his position, he continued to man his machinegun alone, holding off 6 more German attacks. When the eighth assault was launched, most of his supporting riflemen were out of ammunition. They took positions in echelon behind Pvt. Ross and crawled up, during the attack, to extract a few rounds of ammunition from his machinegun ammunition belt. Pvt. Ross fought on virtually without assistance and, despite the fact that enemy grenadiers crawled to within 4 yards of his position in an effort to kill him with handgrenades, he again directed accurate and deadly fire on the hostile force and hurled it back. After expending his last rounds, Pvt. Ross was advised to withdraw to the company command post, together with 8 surviving riflemen, but, as more ammunition was expected, he declined to do so. The Germans launched their last all-out attack, converging their fire on Pvt. Ross in a desperate attempt to destroy the machinegun which stood between them and a decisive breakthrough. As his supporting riflemen fixed bayonets for a last-ditch stand, fresh ammunition arrived and was brought to Pvt. Ross just as the advance assault elements were about to swarm over his position. He opened murderous fire on the oncoming enemy; killed 40 and wounded 10 of the attacking force; broke the assault single-handedly, and forced the Germans to withdraw. Having killed or wounded at least 58 Germans in more than 5 hours of continuous combat and saved the remnants of his company from destruction, Pvt. Ross remained at his post that night and the following day for a total of 36 hours. His actions throughout this engagement were an inspiration to his comrades and maintained the high traditions of the military service.

Hahaha funny thing is my Civic has a man pedal, but it's damn slow. I can chirp third, but it can't get out of its own way.

So the moral of the story, the man pedal doesn't mean diddly squat.

Man pedal makes that civic alot more fun to drive than an auto version tho!  My Escort was as boring and vanilla as they come, slower than the most commonly accepted definition of slow but the 3rd pedal made it...dare I say...enjoyable to own and drive.  Fun little POS.  The ST was much much much more fun obviously and the GT times that by a thousand.

Cant wrap my head around the fact that its already Friday, I keep feeling like its a danged Tues or something.

Yeah it is fun to drive, I am currently in the process of figuring out what I need to do once I buy a VAFC2 to get VTEC to work since the car was apparently a non vtec car and the replacment motor is a VTEC motor.

I found a couple Honduh forums that have outlined the process, but now I gotta buy the controller and set it all up. This thing just falls flat after about 4400 rpms.

A man pedal in a Civic and talk of it's speed relates to Bruce Jenner, lipstick, and sex appeal.  I just don't have time to explain it.

Well your statement about the foxbody was insinuating that a man pedal is the only thing needed for the vehicle to be fast, so I took that argument in regards to my Civic. In which I can clearly prove that a man pedal does not make the car fast.

However forced induction does make the car fast regardless of transmission. So please go on about how you like Bruce Jenner in his new form, if you are trying to tell us all something about yourself go ahead this is a judgement free site. Well heck at least I won't judge ya, but I can't say the same for others.

Hey, so far today I've fixed a 4.6 mustang (5 speed), helped find and order a part for a 65 GTO (4 speed), and told a guy in an automatic Ferrari with nitrous that his car was gay and I wouldn't work on it.  (OK, 2 of 3 are true.)

DO they make an automatic ferrari? I thought all the transmissions were the sequential gear boxes with paddle shifters.

I make automatic Ferraris.  Hollywood wimps bring me their cars and I put 4L60Es in them.
