When asked about HOA, emissions inspections, sandals and flip flops, a high level expert had this to say:

Yeah we have been having some very serious discussions about moving out of this neighborhood. We love Franklin, but I absolutely cannot stand people who walk around and live with sticks up their butts and expect everyone to bend to their wishes.

Disney don't tell me you're a hipster... I googled it first and thought you must be referencing something else, no decently intelligent human being could be a hipster.

I can testify @Disney is not and has never been a hipster.

Hipsters don't get their hands dirty working on hotrods. They're too busy seeing how tight they can smash their little balls in those feminine skinny jeans and waxing their beards.

Alright man, I usually stick with my converse all stars, flip flops, or if I am paintballing, or require heavy foot protection I still have my combat boots from my Air Force days and a pair of steel toe boots. I prefer to drive with converse or barefoot I get a better feel of the pedal made it nice when I had a manual trans.

I wonder if we could draw up an amendment and submit it to the state congress to change the Antique Auto License Plate law to where you can drive AA's any day for any reason and modified motors legalized?

https://www.tn.gov/assets/entities/revenue/attachments/f1312901Fill-in.pdf

I think we could make the case that most modified engines are cleaner than stock 25 year old+ engine.

Plus, how many completely stock AA tagged vehicles have you seen with completely stock engines? Another case could be this law make 98% of AA's illegal under current law.

What do you guys think?

My hypothetical case would be, for instance, that I would take my 1991 Dodge Dakota Sport 4x4 5.2L V8 that get's 15 mpg's and swap in a newer crate motor like a Hemi that runs as cleaner and gets more MPG's.

What do y'all think?

We do have a Republican majority and I'm not sure how much longer it'll be this way, but they're usually more open to stuff like this whereas the left-wing are beholden to socialism and environmentalism which they would rather see old cars crushed because they seem them as heavy polluters.

Have you looked for any 80's g-bodies?  A cutlass with a 307, 200-4r is a good car to daily and cheap to maintain or hotrod.  And should have little rust.

i can guarantee that skylark has rot around the rear window, in the trunk and the lower quarters.  I know from experience with many of them.
