Shelby GT350 Ford Engineers Discuss the Shelby GT350 in detail

I know the GT350 is a badarse car, but I'd love to have that motor in my beat-up 97 GT.

I bet they'll want $25k-$30k just for the crate motor and electronics if they sale them. That's about what the GT500 5.8's were going for if I recall correctly.

Which means, I'll never own one of those crate motors.

Never say never, you might just own one, one day haha.

Considering the custom parts used in that motor that is really not a bad price, I mean building the whole combo using the flat plane crank, forged internals, and having it ready to go, $25k is a great price, while it is high for my wallet too, just not bad for what's involved.
