For a $100 I would jump on it, or you can try to find something cheaper.

This is just a fill in plate someone drilled into. If I mount this other one on the cage I may try and get the gauge pod for there.

I would either go to the cage on windshield bar or under the dash, depends on how much you like running wires.

If those switches are old enough to be american made I'd keep them over new made junk.   And if they're USA made, and you don't want them, tell me when you put them in the garbage can....

You can use any relay for 12vdc that will handle the wattage of your bulbs.   Ohm out a relay with 4 terminals.  Two terminals will have a resistance of (ballpark late night guess) of 50 ohms; one needs to be connected to ground and the other to your headlight switch (which will provide 12v when "turned on").

The other two terminals will measure an open circuit.  They will need to have heavier gauge wires.  One wire will come from a fused 12v source.  The other goes to the headlight bulbs.

Double check that everything works, then disconnect all power before closing the garage door and going so sleep!  I don't trust your life to the combination of my description and your electrical prowess!  lol

please, trace your headlight wiring for me to see this "blooper" that needs to be resolved, no headlights should be ran through a horn anything

After talking to them he said those two red wires (horn relay wires) have to be hooked up

^Almost every wire in the entire car listed on two pages = the good ole days.  Nowadays a diesel truck has more wiring just dealing with the EXHAUST system! :wall:
