Maybe I'm retarded but has anyone had problems with a lokar throttle cable? I can not get the cable to stay in the fitting

Im running one and havnt had that issue even after adjusting it numerous times now.  Is the set screw tightening up on the cable itself?

That's the thing, there isn't a screw. Just some brass fitting that is suppose to hold onto it with imagination

Take a picture of the offending brass piece, all the ends on the link you posted have set screws.
