Sure did Mike. We are down Indian Lake. Great neighborhood and I got a 3 car garage! Granted it's still full of moving boxes but there is a 65 mustang in there. Somewhere..... lol

I tore the 408 apart to make sure it had all the parts I was told.

I took the nos kit off, cleaned it up and sold it

Then I cut the 4500 adapter that was welded on off and milled the intake back down.

Now it goes to Mike to get fitted with injector bungs and fuel rails

Sweet!!!  You gonna leave the compression high like that and if so, what fuel you gonna run through it.  I always thought about doing a higher compression small block for the 66 if I even get off the boosted inline BS.

So I picked up a few things for the coupe this morning.

I TKO from liberty transmission it has been faceplated and has a pro 50 shifter.

I also picked up I'd Lakewood blow proof bellhousing and Centerforce clutch to go with it.

I need to do the same but I fear that my brand new welder would probably pack up and quit without a 2 week notice if I tried.  Theres a million of em!!!  Ive been calling it weight savings in my head to try and keep the idea of cleaning it all up at bay at least for the time being.

Welded up a bunch of little holes in the engine bay. Well until me welder quit feeding wire.....

What brand/model welder?
