Saw that on FB the other day. That was a big hit. Amazing he walked away like that.

The car held up really well considering. I was shocked.

Just look at that concrete wall; busted that crap good!

That's what I call trying to knock the wall down.

What's up with all the idiots standing around in the staging area?

A funeral director's dream.

I see it in a lot of videos where there is a bet between two race teams for money. Lots of hyping and smack talk, then the race. Sometimes ends in sore losers who nearly get in physical fights over it.

try explaining that to the insurance company. That stinks, glad he was ok

I hope we all know that insurance (the couple of policies I've read) expressly prohibits coverage when used at a race track.

There was a guy that went to Tennesspeed day 2008 I think it was and wrecked a new GT500. I believe he got insurance to total it. Y'all remember that? Wasn't there a big stink over it because he wasn't honest about it with his insurance? It was a while back, so can't recall if I'm correct on that story or not.

I remember that. I didn't know any of the parties involved but from what I understand it got towed to the interstate and claimed it hit the concrete median. I think there was video of the wreck as well but it didn't get posted all over the internet obviously.

Wow! I didn't know he did that!

I wonder if his insurance ever found out the truth? :meh:

That may not have been what actually happened but I think it did. They made sure to keep it quiet so insurance would cover it. The guy owed like 50k on it iirc.

I wonder how he got a tow truck to do that even. Most seem to keep records of where they tow to and from.

I recall there was a video of the crash, but whoever filmed it took it down.

pay an independent tow truck owner double and I bet he would quickly lose his paperwork.

Probably right. Or a friend with a HD truck, trailer and winch.
