I once drove a stock 90 Mustang GT automatic to the Buick Nationals in BG.   It was like _______________________*.

*...going to college wearing a dunce cap.

*...showing up to run hurdles on crutches.

I should get back to work...that could go on forever.

When I went last year I ran into Mike Muarillio, Havent seen that guy for a minute. He has a pretty quick car

That is the tuning and Mustang God, Mike Murillo of Murillo Motorsports? http://www.murillomotorsports.com/

Yeah, he's been in the Mustang scene for a good while. Seen him run some fast passes. Never met him in person, though.

He is from my home town. He was very popular with his Star Car. Him and I talked last year, not sure he remembered me. The team out there walked my wife and I around his shop. When it started he was just a hole in the wall with some mustangs in the parking lot.

Raceall will get it.  Inside joke from when we attended the very first NMCA event in BG when it was the Edelbrock PRO series

I think it was about 2001, and Brad and I went to NMCA, in BG.  We were on our way to the track, talking and having a good ol' time, and I realized that I just ran a red light.  Both of us stopped talking, looked at each other, and as calm as anything, I said, "Uh, sorry."  Then, for some reason, we just busted out laughing like it was the funniest thing ever.  It was one of those "you had to be there" things.

The wife and I are in BG, but the day has been reduced to shopping. I can't bring myself to pay $50 to get into the track to watch it rain. :-(
