Hopefully this will help motivate me to get to work on the car. Awhile back the car broke a valve spring, blah, blah, didn't see it until the head was off. Since it was broke why no take the opportunity to make it a little quicker.

Parts list so far:

Advanced Induction 218cc ported 243s

AI specd cam 228/234 112 .626/626

Brian Tooley Racing .660 springs/ti locks etc

OBX Stainless 1 7/8 longtube no cats (already has a magnaflow catback)

Creative Steel Motor Mounts

LS7 lifters

melling oil pump

H&R springs and brackets to keep self leveling shucks lowered in the rear

Z06 end links

That's all I've got for now. I'm reusing the ls6 intake. A fast setup just isn't in the budget right now. When done it will be tuned by PCM of NC or Vengeance Racing. Considering DBR also. I'll put up a few pics later.

Awesome!

You sure you want steel motor mounts, though? Seems it might increase NVH a bit much.

Can't wait to see progress and pics! Keep us up to date!!! :hyper:

It's not a solid steel motor mount despite the name. It's a stiff poly replacement for the well known factory mounts that fail. My buddy came by last weekend and put up some fluorescents in the garage so I can actually see now. The dyno graph is from a very similar setup as mine but with full cncd heads. I'll be happy with 420-440 to the wheels.

You will have that easy. I would say around 450 with those heads and cam. But the only thing Idk is the rear in those. Do they eat up power?

Nothing other than I need to get off my *** and get to work but it doesn't hurt to let the funds recover. I'm itching to drive something fun and take advantage of this cheap gas. post-242-0-00603600-1414506278_thumb.jpgpost-242-0-46007700-1414506318_thumb.jpgpost-242-0-38780300-1414506332_thumb.jpgpost-242-0-55359400-1414506351_thumb.jpgpost-242-0-99314700-1414506365_thumb.jpgpost-242-0-34674800-1414506382_thumb.jpg

You aren't helping posting videos of V2s. Been having thoughts of selling off the heads/cam and getting the car running again so I can get rid of it. I'm getting the itch again. I really want this http://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/detail/626468206/overview/ or a V2. My inner Dave Ramsey says no, especially until I at least get my car running.
