It just needs to be on someone’s garage other than mine!
  8. For Sale: 1965 Mustang Fastback

Well, Leslie and I have decided it is time to get the ‘65 fastback restomod into the hands of someone who will truly enjoy it versus being pretty much the garage ornament it has become over the past few years. Vehicle Overview 1965 Mustang Fastback (original V8 car) Garage Kept since paint/bodywork was completed in 2005. Patriot Blue Pearl Clearcoat w/Diamond White Pearl racing stripes. 393 (351W-based) stroker engine, 9.5:1 CR (balanced and blueprinted shortblock), Edelbrock Victor Jr aluminum heads, Comp cams 270 retrofit had roller, CompCams roller rockers. Edelbrock Performer RPM airgap intake, Holley 650 dp carb. MSD 6AL w/matching distributor. 4-row aluminum radiator w/electric flex-a-lite thermostatic controlled fan. Optima red-top battery. T56 6speed transmission Pro5.0 shifter New McLeod RST twin disc clutch/pressure plate New McLeod aluminum flywheel Cable clutch conversion Built Ford 8-inch rear w/3.80 gear Detroit Locker Moser 28-spline forged axles Boxed steel subframe connectors Centerline billet “Mohave” 17x8 wheels New Michelin tires Global West upper/lower control arms, stabilizer bars and sway bar. Total Control Products adjustable front coilovers/shocks and rear adj shocks Flaming River manual rack and pinion Custom white interior, dark blue carpet Retro sound radio w/usb and bluetooth inputs JLP instrument cluster w/Autometer gauges Flaming River tilt steering column Lecarra steering wheel ~2000 miles put on the car since 2005 Only notable things that I feel a new owner might want to address is replacing the drivers side front floor pan and redo the sheet metal over the transmission area under the dash. (No rust, just my terrible welding skills leaves much to be desired). Drivers side rear floor pan seems to have been patched by the previous owner and I never got around to doing anything about it. $34,000 OBO
  9. NewEST DD 1985 LTD WagonTF????

Needs some foxbody 5.0 emblems on the fenders!
  10. NewEST DD 1985 LTD WagonTF????

Congrats, Matt. That will be a fun little ride!
  11. Back in the game I guess..

Some people cannot help living in the past and using outdated data to support a modern arguement. There was a guy online the other day suggesting old foxbody performance improvement modifications would have the same effect on a Coyote-powered S550.
  12. NewEST DD 1985 LTD WagonTF????

    LOL!
  13. Random thought thread

Considering the paint issues he openly described, this seems to be a fair price. Yes, you see ‘03-04 Cobras going for more, but they are usually heavily modded or pristine garage queens that seek top dollar. It’s at least worth checking out, IMO.
  14. Makes sense. I also had a good experience with Dynospeed in the past. They tuned my 2001 Lightning and 2010 twin-turbo GT500.
