  1. Then weld that sucker on there!
  2. Is this hub not available to buy? Is it cost prohibitive? I'd say unless you're going to pull the 600lb wheels/hub/water balloon, then drilling is your best repair. You may lose width adjustability, but look on the bright side, all your corn rows will be the same width and you'll never have to move the hub again.

Not QUITE as rough now? Took all the old tint off. Huge improvement. New door handles and locks all around. Fixed engine/trans mount issue. installed 3G alternator kit. All new headlights and tails installed. Took it down the road and did some power pulls. Runs really good!! It's about ready to list I think. Going to button up a couple more things then it's ready.

I'm not sold on it. My friend's boss died about a year ago when his Tesla decided the correct path was into the end of a guardrail.
  8. NewEST DD 1985 LTD WagonTF????

If it's got underdrive pullies, go ahead and remove them too.
  9. Q50 HSA

Must be a different guy because aint no way I trap 130.
  10. Q50 HSA

Got some hot street action in my 2018 Q50 this week. Caught a 5th Gen Camaro SS with some big wing, and bunch of stickers on it. I dunno. Some prayer about keeping traction and not wrecking.. Either way, he saw Q50 tails. Caught a 370Z from work. That was unfair. Q50 dominated. Got a 2011-2014 (I think) Mustang 5.0 and we never could get a good hit together. I really want to try one with a clean hit. Should be close. I'm daily on the prowl for unsuspecting victims. Y'all look out for the White Q ball!
  11. Q50 HSA

I think it was a black guy.
  12. SEMA 2018

LUCKY!!!! Also a bucket list item for me.
  13. Q50 HSA

Today at lunch tried another Coyote car. He was running 90+ but not interested in a high pull. But, it did get the attention from a 370Z. Unfortunatly for him.. .Well, it was unfortunate for him. That drew the ire of a G37 Coupe with some fart cannons. Bad bad bad choice for G37boi. I let him have a running start coming by me and he never managed to pull even. Q50 = King of these streets.
  14. Back in the game I guess..

It's true that bad news travels fast. Not a lot of people shouting from the mountains about how good their CVT has been. Plenty of folks willing to complain though if something is wrong (or they perceive it's wrong).
  15. Back in the game I guess..

Didn't every MFG of every car have to extend a warranty for something here and there? Do you think they would take what they learned and improve upon it? And how wants to tow with a Rogue anyways? And yes, you are skeptical. No, not every MFG that has tried CVT has left it. GM did. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_automobiles_with_continuously_variable_transmissions new Honda, Toyota, Subarus, and Nissans still rock the ol slipper trans.
  16. NewEST DD 1985 LTD WagonTF????

    L O V E IT!!!!!
  17. Back in the game I guess..

Not true at all. Pathfinder has CVT and Class III hitch and 6,000 tow rating. I've towed my trailer with a mustang on it with my wife's pathfinder. Factory 7 pin and trailer brake wiring factory installed.

Your side of town I think.

I'd have to calculate how much electricity it would be using at my home and factor that in as well. If it eats $300/mo in electricity, then you're not really any money ahead.
  20. Disney's Auto Shop Top Tips

It occurred to me the other day that i've accumulated a decent bit of auto and general garage knowledge. Some of those tid bits come to me naturally and I realized that they may not occur to other folks, or they have never heard of said tid bit. I thought it might be helpful to introduce some of those things here in case folks have never heard of them. So, feel free to participate and try out the tips I give. If you have a better way, please let me know!
