  1. Going to be converting a 65 coupe to a fastback. Got it yesterday and started gutting it. Interior removed, qtr windows removed, gas tank removed, taillights and qtr extensions off. Not a lot of rust, underside looks pretty good. Front pans will need some work and the trunk has a few holes but nothing crazy. Really solid car

    Well you always learn lessons the hard way. I was very frustrated welding my cowl covers in. It was spattering really bad and i have no idea why. After i ran out of wire i went to tractor supply and bought some Hobart wire and all of a sudden my welds started working better with way less spatter...So now i know to stick to name brand store bought wire. . So i have a lot of grinding and cleaning to do on the cowl

    Everything including updated ignition switch, high beam switch, and light switch. Plus adsitional wires for after market wiring

    Working in the garage un this heat sucks especially hungover but stuff must be done. Found a spot on the core support that im gonna have to patch. Someone must not of liked that spot Cleaned up, painted , and used bed liner on the inside fender area

    could of swore i updated this thread but apparently not. Got the top of the cowl welded back up and cleaned up a bit. Also got frustrated with how disorganized and filthy the garage was so i organized and cleaned up to make room. MTF Eleanor kit should be on its way soon Im planning a matte/Satin blue paint job..Similar to this...Also ill be having a 67 style hood like in the picture

    Been trying to decide on the rear suspension and after much consideration i decided to stick with leaf springs and upgraded shocks. So ive ordered 4.5 Mid eye leafs and blisstein shocks from SOT so my who suspension matches.. Just cant justify a 4 link for my build. Im also debating on what to do about wiring...I really want to go American Autowire but i probably can slavage the wiring in it...but id like upgraded fuses and well new wiring so i dont have to chase deamons

    Got my wheel cribs in to make wire wheeling the underside easier. I have a pair for the rear but since i dont have brakes i decided against using them for now

    ok both floors are done, the door jambs have been welded up and grinded some, ive removed the pass side cowl as it was rotted as well and probably will work on replacing it this weekened, and did a lot of wire wheeling

    67 will work...They use the same Geometry as the Granda only difference is the Granda Spindles are a bit thicker..Use bigger bearings and such.....I have them on my 67 and had to swap out bearings in my Disc Brakes once i figured that out lol

    You can get some 67 spindles pretty cheap..I think i paid $70 for mine and then the GT Brake kit i got was like $550....Its pretty legit and thats because i ordered it with everything. The brackets are only like 250...... I have some Granda tie rod ends if ya need them...Mevotech.....Bought them for the 67 then i realized i wasnt getting the adapters out for the 67 ends lol As far as EPAS they now have a way to relocated the Square box that would be good for you A
