  3. Good hardwood floor repair

I checked the subfloor, and it is pristine. It is literally just the end of that one board. Neither of the adjacent boards show any signs of water intrusion.
  4. 2010 Camaro SS

You have slicks and a rear diff that can take it, I don't. Look at the difference in the CTSV / ZL1 diff and axles compared to the SS. Slicks are on the list, but I can't do it right now because I don't have the cash saved up to fix the rear of it breaks. It's mega bucks to upgrade. $6k just to go stock ZL1: And the real expensive setup: Diff with driveshaft and axles:

Ha Im pretty sure his junk would still walk me even on its worst shake down pass! He's outta my league now and into Mike's. I might get there one day with my DD (and my budget lol) but not anytime soon (see budget again) Im just impatient for him is all. I wanna see it all come to fruition and be awesome finally. Matt

  15. Good hardwood floor repair

same thing happened to me. I didn't have a storm door so when it rained, it just hit the door face and ran down till it eventually rotted the subfloor. I salvaged the hardwood though the bottom half was starting to go. point is - if you don't have a storm door on there, may look into it.

Getting close! Trans and converter are in and full of fluid. He is welding on the V bands next. Should be a DSX harness update in there, too. Then finally, some catch can rerouting. Can't wait!

    Glue. I forgot glue.
  21. Good hardwood floor repair

I'd be concerned about the subfloor right there. Presumably a small water leak from the door got that end of that piece of flooring. I'd say to rip saw that piece until you can pull it out, cut the tongue off a replacement board and face nail it in place. ASSUMING the subfloor can take a nail... I've got several unused oak T &G pieces, I think they're old school dimensions of about 2 3/4" wide by 3/4" thick. I might travel through Nashville in two weeks. Parts and delivery free....I can check dimensions if you're interested.

I don't know why they used stock bolts for. But they held 1700hp for a few seconds I would like to see them do it again but both of them use the same blower

I wouldn't want the issues that come at that HP level. I've got enough problems now! If I recall, I was only shooting for 620 to 650 wheel max. Ended up 723 pump 760 E85! I'm good for now. But that LSx was kicking butt HP wise and did not have a real mechanical failure; just a TTY head bolt caused head to lift. Pretty amazing really! The yote had to spin to the moon and that valvetrain failure is major mechanical failure! I really thought the yote would do better and actually figured it was going to win. Crazy!
  24. Good hardwood floor repair

Don't know anyone myself. But do you think that's from water getting there?
  25. Good hardwood floor repair

Anybody know a good company/person who could repair a bad board in my hardwood floor. For whatever reason, this one small area has rotted out near the door.
  26. Any Audio peeps in here?

Component sets usually come with a passive crossover network to split the midbass and tweeter on one channel or you can amp the two separately either on different channels or different amps depending on your setup. I went ahead and pulled/terminated 2 pairs to each speaker in the case I wanted to add a second amp later to run the tweeters, just have to snip the terminals at the amp, separate the pairs and re-terminate instead of having to tear the doors apart, pull additional wires, etc, used CCA wiring so all the wire was cheap. If you want to get real exotic you can run everything with a processor and do all the crossover freq/slopes/delay/etc there instead of the head unit, amp or external crossover unit but $$$$.
  27. Any Audio peeps in here?

    Ah. It will be active.
  28. Any Audio peeps in here?

Active or passive crossovers, active is before the amp in the line level or in the amp, passive is after the amp before the speakers made up of coils and caps. I used cheap 80mil Noico for the floor and back wall and Kilmat for the doors.
